Abstract The Terahertz (THz) region lie in the range 0.1 THz to 10 THz. It can pass easily through fog, smoke, thin walls, and clothes be focused as a light wave create images of objects. waves are applied imaging technology, such safety, navigation, non-destructive evaluation (NDE) technique used for materials analysis. A microbolometer is micromachined device measure inherent power incident electromagnetic radiation. resistance bolometer temperature-dependent, it varies with changes temperature exposed surface. Bolometric detectors dominate market due their affordability ease manufacturing. Despite slow response time, systems still actively employed research area, aiming at improved terahertz detection. antenna coupled. chosen has resonance desired frequency leading development fast time bolometers without compromising collection area bolometer. system low cost, easy fabrication, better isolation. Antenna simulations were conducted design optimize spiral 1 2.5 using HFSS (high-frequency structure simulator) simulation software. results presented discussed.
